Maventa steps forward as an standalone Visma subsidiary – introducing Maventa Oy 

From the beginning of February 2025, Maventa Oy has spinned off into its own Visma company. 

This milestone marks the beginning of a new, even more exciting phase for Maventa as we continue our international growth and supporting our customers by creating a European-wide e-invoicing network with comprehensive services.

Strategic roots that won’t decay 

Founded in 2007 in Finland, Maventa quickly emerged as a key player in the financial technology space, offering services in the Nordic region. It may soon be 20 years, but some things remain:

Maventa being part of Peppol Network from the beginning

As pioneers in shaping the e-invoicing industry, we’ve embraced this opportunity with great pride. 

In Europe, the diversity in business practices is as varied as its countries and languages. The same principle extends to e-invoicing. The EU recognised this and started the unification process with creation of a network that evolved into Peppol and creation of EN 16931 invoicing standard. 

We’ve been part of the very first steps of the Peppol network – quite literally as the very first Peppol production invoice was received by our team in 2012. Today, Peppol provides a standardised network that makes exchanging invoices easy and reliable for businesses everywhere.

Introducing Maventa Oy – part of Visma Group

Since becoming a part of Visma Solutions in 2014, we have been able to expand our offerings and reach by integrating into Visma’s extensive suite of services. Previously also known as AutoInvoice, we’ve unified Maventa and AutoInvoice under one brand since 2024. 

As we continue to expand our accessibility and reach across Europe and respond to market demands, we are thrilled to embark on our international growth journey as a standalone Visma subsidiary from February onwards, as Maventa Oy. 

Maventa’s e-invoicing service will continue its operations unchanged. This transition won’t affect partner and customer relationships, ensuring the service remains consistent with what you’re accustomed to.
